This is a power consumption meter to measure the power used by an individual household appliance.

What this Power Usage Meter tells you:

  • Power actually used by appliances, as long as they have a 3 pin-plug – by plugging your various gadgets, gizmos and appliances into this meter, you can find out exactly how much electricity they each use, up to a maximum rating of 2.5kW.
  • Power cost of running these gadgets – by entering the actual power cost (say 25c/kWh), the meter will let you see clearly how much each gadget is costing you to run.
  • Forecast power cost – the Power Usage Meter also works out what the hourly, daily, monthly and yearly cost would be, so you can get an idea of how much the gadget is contributing to your power bill.
  • Other things for tekkies – if you are the "tekkie" type and want to see, this Power Usage Meter can also display voltage at the plug (99% accuracy rating), the current drawn (99%), power factor (96%), frequency (98%), apparent power (98%), active power or watts (98%), and energy (98%). (Power consumption of Power Usage Meter: 2W)
